Since 1981, ChosenFew.com has become a leader in the Southern California legal recruiting industry representing international and national corporations seeking direct hire and temporary services. From our inception, we have been a women's owned and operated business that encourages equal opportunity and diversity.
KIM WALKER
Kim Walker, founder of ChosenFew.com, has over 30 years of
staffing and legal recruiting experience in the employment industry. Kim
began the agency in 1981 with a focus in legal full-time direct placements.
In the mid-eighties, the business expanded by providing temporary personnel
to law firms and corporate legal departments. Kim is committed to lead the tradition of excellence and success her firm has been dedicated to while growing. The firm's basic philosophy emphasizes market specialization setting the gold standard servicing the legal industry. A member of LA5 Rotary Club, the Assistance League of Southern California, donor and supporter of the Pasadena Symphony, Pasadena Playhouse, member of The Huntington Library and Executive Women's
Golf Association of Los Angeles.
VALERIE CHATONNET
Valerie Chatonnet is a senior recruiter joining the firm in 1991 and specializes in Direct Hire placement. As a top producing recruiter, Valerie provides a high level of job market knowledge and service to all of her clientele.
Valerie worked formerly in the legal and healthcare private sectors. She
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University and has
completed post-graduate course work. Valerie is very active in her community
and does volunteer work with inner-city youths. She enthusiastically
participates in the annual YMCA Annual Fundraising Drive, and was the 2007
recipient of the Gerry Gallagher Award for Most Active Alumni providing
in-service volunteer work and fundraising for her primary school alma mater.
LIANA PERRY
Liana Perry is a partner with ChosenFew.com specializing in direct hire placement. She is an award winning legal recruiter with experience in the legal staffing industry since 2001. She received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Philosophy from Mills College, Oakland, graduating with
honors. Liana is a dedicated and highly ethical legal recruiting
professional who takes pride in her relationships with attorneys,
administrators and legal support staff. Her expertise is helping to create
long term matches between leading Southern California law firms and the best
legal talent. Liana is a member of the LA5 Rotary Club and a marathon
runner for Team in Training, a fund raising organization for the Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society.
TARA PERRY
Tara Perry is the manager of Contract Division placement. She has developed
a network of clients and immediately available qualified contract employees.
Tara joined the agency in 2002 as a Direct Hire recruiter and took over the
Contract Division in 2004. Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Philosophy from University of San Francisco and is involved with post
graduate course work in Business Administration. A member of the Assistance
League of Southern California, she is actively involved in fundraising efforts
for political and social community programs.
TRISHA BRUAL
Trisha Brual joined the agency as a coordinator and administrative recruiter
with Contract Division placement. Trisha ensures quality and accuracy of the
operational aspects of the Contract Division which enables quick pairing of
the needs of her clients. Her main concentration is on recruiting,
evaluating and screening of prospective administrative professionals meeting
the necessary satisfactory requirements. Trisha holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in International Studies from De La Salle University-Manila and
studied Human Resources Management at University of California Los Angeles
focusing on Employee Relations.
JEANNICE AGUILAR
Jeannice Aguilar brings 10 years of customer service experience with her to
administrative operations at the agency. Overseeing the evaluation and
screening of prospective candidates through the registration process to meet
the necessary satisfactory requirements for Direct Hire and Contract
Division placement. Jeannice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology
from California State University of Northridge. She presented at the 13th
annual Southern California Conference on Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) for
her research of "The Effects of Distraction on Anxiety & Test Performance"
in 2005.
